What is My RSS Feed URL?

If you have your own custom domain (one that you bought so you don’t see the platform in the URL, like blogspot or wordpress or wix…), then your RSS feed URL is either this:

http://yourdomainname.com/feed

or this:

http://yourdomainname.com/feed.xml

For example, if your blog URL is stickyreaders.com, then your RSS feed URL would be:

http://stickyreaders.com/feed

or

http://stickyreaders.com/feed.xml

Sticky Readers is a WordPress blog with a custom domain, so in this blog’s case the RSS Feed URL is the first one: http://stickyreaders.com/feed

What is my RSS Feed URL for a Wix blog?

Ask Wix this question and you will get a robot to tell you how to add an RSS button. But this isn’t what you want to know, is it? You want the URL of the feed itself because other places (like Mailchimp or Amazon author pages) need this URL, and you can’t very well add a Wix RSS button to your Amazon author page – sheesh!

For Premium Wix Accounts With a Custom Domain

If you have an upgraded premium Wix account and a custom domain name, like nannygoatsinpanties.com, then your URL feed would be:

http://nannygoatsinpanties.com/feed.xml

For Free Wix Accounts or Non-Custom Domains

If you have a free Wix Account or a Premium Account without using a custom domain, then the website’s URL has “wix” and your username and your sitename all in there, right? Kinda like this?

http://username.wix.com/sitename

So, your RSS feed URL would be:

http://username.wix.com/sitename/feed.xml

So if your username is “steadyfreddy” and one of your sitenames (you can have more than one site for a single Wix user account), is “myblog”, then your RSS feed URL would be:

http://steadyfreddy.wix.com/myblog/feed.xml
